El Taco Loco taco truck!

Illustration of El Taco Loco Illustration of Asada Burrito If you know me, you would know that Burrito's will be on my top 5 of most favorite food in the world. Today I finally tried the burrito at El Taco Loco! This taco truck has been in this corner for a few years now, and it used to be a red truck too! I don't know if this truck is related to the shop on Market street, but the names the same. Either way this location serves a lot of the construction workers in the area and its placed next to a smoke shop and a cafe, so I'm sure they get a decent amount of customers during lunch time. I got the Asada (beef) burrito, took about 10 min to make, the burrito was around $9, the outside tortilla was crisp and chewy, filled with lots of diced up beef, bean and rice. The green inside seemed to be mixed with some kind of dressing as it had a sweet taste, which worked well with the salty but flavorful beef and rice. I would give this place a SR rating,  Price w...

Unadon simple step process

Step 1 Getting done with the line art, using the regular 10px brush, no pressure on photoshop. Usually done on one layer.  Step 2 Dumping the base layers, using the spool tool and getting the base color to and filling them into each respective parts. I will make different layers for each parts.  Step 3 Here we look at the reference image and do my best to render it out as close as possible. here I use the default brush on photoshop, but with pressure and play with the opacity. The brush size varies, but usually around 20 - 50 pixel.  Part 4 this is probably my favorite part, where I would add white speckles to give it the shiny look and make things look really good. Here I just use the lasso tool and make random white blots all over the place. Part 5 The final step, where I play around with saturation to give it the image a pop! Add my logo and Walaaah! Done!

Borger Dragon Girl simple step process

Here's a simple step by step of the process for drawing the recent illustration. I drew this sketch out on the Ipad, Ipad is easier for me to drawing out the line work, so I draw the sketch. After the sketch, I draw the line art, I have a love hate relationship with lineart, I'm not very good at drawing lineart, like drawing with a single stroke. I usually just draw a line, then after I would erase the line to make it more slim, its a tediuos process and I dont like it LOL. Here  comes the base color, this is probably the most easiest part. Just slap the colors. I've been using the Ipad up to this point. Since I'm not very used to shading / rending out with  Ipads procreate, next point is done through SAI on my Wacom Mobile Pro.  MAGIC, all the shading and lighting magically appeared! I basically use  the  watercolor brush tool to doing all the rendering for the shading.  DONE! Still a long ways, but it was a good fun wa...

Konbini Zine Preview pages for Kickstarter.

Finally finished up the preview pages, still a long ways to go, but its turning out pretty good.  I'm still not sure about the color though, since they were all items from Lawson, I probably should change the color scheme so it fits the Lawson color, which is Blue. Will need to test things out.   Because these will be 8 x 8 inches, I think it might be a good idea to make my speech bubble + face smaller so I can make the Illustrations more bigger. Still lots to test out.  Hoping to have all 20+ illustrations done by end of March, so I can try and have it made into a book by middle of April.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improving the pages.

This will be my first post on my new blog, I 'm going to try and make this blog page where I can post and upload works that wont usually go on my other social media pages like Twitter/Instagram.
